BEAUTY EDIT: Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream

Laneige Cream

By now you all know that my skincare routine, no matter what season or what condition my skin is in, is hydration. Water is truly the key to your skin's vitality and I do my best to hydrate internally by drinking TONS of water and externally by using high-quality moisturizers that keep my skin hydrated but not oily or weighed down.

The Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream was considered one of Allure's Best of Beauty products for 2016 so I really wanted to check it out.

First off, in what might be totally unrelated, the packaging of the product is amazing! It is encased in a beautifu blue glass container that reminds me of caribbean waters. It's weighted and feels almost regal in your hands.

The cream itself is light to the touch with a cushiony texture that melts aways with the heat if yoru skin. With any moisturizer, the ability to absorb into the skin is so important. That lets you know that the product is going to fall into the skin instead of sit on top of it, potentially causing clogged pores and shiny skin.

My preference for a scent in any moisturizer ... is to have none.  My skin is super sensitive and any extreme scent aggravates it terribly. But in the case of the Water Bank Moisture Cream, I feel in love with the light floral scent. I also immediately feel in love with the cooling sensation it provides. It cools you off after application, which is a huge Florida Girl plus!

Officially, this product is used for hydration and soothing and features hydro ionized mineral water (fancy!) and micro-hyaluronic acid.

Translation: Amazingly soft and moisturized skin!
