#OOTD : Sporty Casual

Have you ever had a rough time deciding what the heck to wear? Stupid question right? Because the good majority of us struggle with this idea. . . daily. I for one have the hardest time with the most simple of ensemble catrgories, casual.

Okay so I can hear you at home now, " Um. .  are you allergic to jeans and a t-shirt?" " Are you to boujie to just put something on and go?"  I assure you neither of those things is the case. My problem is I overthink it. I overthink casual wear. That is I DID over think it until this combination.

I love working within the three-piece rule when it comes to most of my looks, but especially the more casual one's. The three-piece rule simply states that you need three pieces to complete a look. For me, jeans and a t-shirt without a third piece ( perhaps a light statement jacket) is too simple or a dress and heels. . . not quite enough.

I used the three piece rule to create a casual sporty look from Forever 21. Ironically enough, I got all of the parts of this look (Joggers, Denim Jacket and White Bodysuit) at different times throughout the year and they just so happen to create this look that I'm obsessed with.

My fiancee' and I had taken the afternoon to sample some of the summer offerings at Tapa Toro on International Drive and these gorgeous earring from Zara added the most appropriate subtle Spanish flair to the look! C'mon, they're pretty spicy.

I scored this bag for 40 bucks from Marshall's and have been carrying it ever since. As stylish as I like to be, I also like to be budget-friendly. Taking the time to find unique pieces like this are always a must for me.

So there you have it! A Sporty, Sultry and Spicy #OOTD. So tell me, do you build your looks with the three-piece rule?
